Help! I need book recommendations!

I highly recommend The Inheritance Cycle!! It’s what got me into fantasy. There are 4 books in the series and they’re all quite long (averaging between 600-850 pages each) so they’ll keep you going for a while :yellow_heart:

I absolutely love the KOTLC series it has some romance but mostly action.

These have a little more romance to them Little Women or one of Raena Rood’s books I haven’t actually read any of her books but other teens say that they enjoyed them.

100% recommend The Lunar Chronicles!!! I am almost done with book four (last one :sob:) and I both want it to end so I can get to the resolution, but I want it to go on forever so I can continue to live in the world! Basically it is fairy tale set in an advance si-fi-fantasy world. Cinder, or Cinderella is a cyborg, Scarlet (Little Red Riding Hood) is a French farmer, Cress (Rapunzel) is a hacker on a satellite circling Earth, and Winter (Snow White) is a crazed princess living on the moon. I can recommend as I am an early-high-school-person and a Christian. These do have a little romance, but nothing bad. I could not put these down (except that I am listening to the last audiobook so I have limited time :sob:)

Also The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion are AMAZING! Very funny and whimsical, set in a ridiculous London neighborhood in 1883-84 (so far) and I love them and there’s some magic elements and the banter is awesome! And the next one is coming out in :sparkles: FEBRUARY! :sparkles: and I am AYAYAYAAYAYAY EXCITED! Because I love them and I think several people at my church think me and my friend are insane (not literally) because we will be jumping up and down and spouting quotes at eachother (WHAT WHATWHAT) and EVERYONE SHOULD READ THEMMMMM

Sorry both of these were kinda overwhelming

Ooh these are some series I’d definitely recommend

The chronicles of narnia

Lord of the rings and the hobbit

Keeper of the lost cities

Amari ( the first one is called Amari and the night brothers but there are 4 so far :3.)

Howl’s moving castle by Diana Wynne Jones (and the sequels but I haven’t read those yet)

.And they found dragons +dragons among us

Snow White with the red hair (it’s a romance manga)

They’re some of my favorites and I’m just now realizing I read almost exclusively fantasy :sob:

Wdym, their vocabulary? If it’s that, pray is another word for please, handsome at the time was usually used instead of pretty, prudent means wise, sensible means wise and not ridiculous.

I’m trying this new series called (The first book is) The Iron Trial by Holly Black and Cassandra Claire and so far it’s pretty good (love me a sarcastic main character), I don’t think it’s to much and feels similar to Harry Potter or Percy Jackson with the earth magic and three main characters.

I also like the Magnus Chase series (another sarcastic main character lol) by Rick Riordian and it’s about norse mythology and he’s dead to my memory so he lives in Valhalla and is a sort of teenage hero and is cousins with Annabeth Chase if you’ve read Percy Jackson.

I also tried Age of Myth (also the name of the first book) by Michael J. Sullivan and it might have some more older YA stuff (not spice but in the fighting description potentially depending on how sensitive you are to it and other potential somber themes but I personally am not bothered) but I love Malcolm who’s also sarcastic there’s clearly a theme here but I that in my opinion is a great soft love story between Raithe and Persephone especially at the end.

Dragonwatch and Fablehaven by Brandon Mull. I do not think there is to much desprivtion just despription of like the monsters. Fablehaven comes first

The Flight and the Flame trilogy by R. J. Anderson is amazing! It’s fantasy/romance (not so much in the first book, more so in the last 2 books) and is written by a Christian author! It’s also not overly spicy or gory and her other series aren’t either. Her other series that I’ve read and can recommend are her No Ordinary Fairy Tale trilogy (set in the same world as the Flight and the Flame trilogy) and her Uncommon Magic series (written for slightly younger readers, but still really good).
