I need help identifying this stitch. I’m trying to make a gift for a friend and I love the look of this stitch. However, I can’t find it anywhere. I know its on a pattern for a shawl for $6 but i dont want to buy the pattern if i dont plan on making the shawl. HELP!!!

It may not be exact, but it looks similar to the crochet moss stitch and is using very light yarn or crochet thread? I apologize if I’m incorrect, but good luck on your search!

Idk if its the same thing, but the pattern notes on ravelry for a shawl I think is the same one says it uses hdc and wrapped double crochet stitches, so perhaps a combination of those!

this is just a guess but it looks like one row follows (dc, ch 2, dc) and then the next row follows a v stitch and it alternates

It ended up being a verriation of the wrapped double crochet. Thank you all for helping me
