I’m definitely not the best person to ask for advice as I’ve only made 1 crochet sweater before and it was by following a pattern, but good luck! (also even if I had any advice you could just come up to me and ask because we’re siblings). :slightly_smiling_face:

Girl- i love that sweater! A pity you never let me wear it, big sis. I would literally parade around the city with it if you did!

My advice is to double check the measurements (so it can fit you) and to use big stitches so it’ll be finished faster. :growing_heart:

Thanks! Will do- i am using pretty thick yarn so the finished quick bit will be easy! Thank you so much!

Do’nt make your sts too tight!

Maintain your gauge/tension!

Keep putting it on so you make sure it fits! My friend made a sweater that was way too small and that didn’t end well :upside_down_face:

Always check the measurements as you go, Trust the process and don’t rush it
(You will make mistakes, trust) :sob:
Don’t make your stitches to tight also you have probably already started but most acrylic yarn is itchy so I always recommend wool, cotton, and Caron simply soft is the softest acrylic yarn I have EVER used, Have fun making it and can’t wait to see how it turns out!:two_hearts:

I’ve honestly never made a sweater but I’m sure you’ll do great! I just made a shrug though! They are really fun to make and it only took me two weeks! I’ll put a picture of it
