I just applied as a tester for @feyrawinddancer ‘s “Loaf dragon pattern.
And I personally think that it really looks like a pig so I recreate it as a pig
So overall, I’m already trying to send a request for editing her pattern need some help.

direct message or personal message. But when you say to change the pattern, I don’t think they can let you change it yourself - you need to tell them what to change and they can do it

You’re not actually supposed to change a pattern that isn’t yours. Especially in a pattern test.
You’re supposed to test the pattern exactly as it is in the testers call/pattern.
If it’s supposed to be a dragon, you should advise the designer on how they can make it look more dragon-like, not change the entire animal/creature to a new one entirely.
If you have suggestions or recommendations you need to communicate this to the designer either via the group chat or PM/DM.

exactly what they said! you cannot take someone else’s pattern, change details, and claim it as your pattern. what you could do is start from scratch and create your own version of this.
if the original designer gives EXPLICIT CONSENT to you using their design (and changing stuff) then would it be okay.
i suggest you design your own pattern to avoid any stealing or plagiarism allegations :)
