Congrats! (I don’t have any patterns in particular, but just some advice!) If you make a plushie, something big enough they can’t choke on a part or safety eye (no safety eyes for babies, just embroidering!), but you might want to make sure it’s small enough or a shape that they can’t cover their face with it! Babies are quite sensitive and might not like scratchier wool, but some types might also shed all over, so a soft but woven yarn is probably best! I haven’t crocheted for a baby myself, but have heard a lot about safety concerns! Hope this helps, I’m quite tired right now and might not make sense lol!
