Help! Moth Antennae for Halloween Costume

Hey guys, I have a question. So for halloween this year my friend and I are being lamp and moth, and she asked me to create a pair of antennae for her, and I told her I could crocheting them…now I fear that I may have gotten into a pickle. I am seeing many tutorials for moth antennae on Youtube, but my inspiration is more of a fuzzy, fluffy moth antennae, not a long skinny one. This is what I would like it to look like:

I have a headband and some 20 gauge jewlery wire, and a hot glue gun and some yarn. I feel like I could make it work…but I’m not sure how.

Anyone have any ideas? Literally anything would be helpful at this point, as I’m lowkey stressing out cuz I need this done by Thursday October 31st.

Maybe you could make the shape with the wire and then single crochet around it? But that’s all I can think of sry

I found this, maybe you can adapt it to create antennae:

I also found this, which could work if you reinforced the middle with wire and sprayed it with something like hairspray (to make it stiff):

To look like the image I think looking for leaf patterns would work! Here’s what I mean

I think you could easily look for similar patterns or modify one you like to look more like that since their shape is pretty much the same! Hope this helped and I love the idea!!

Seconding the feather video! It looks really similar and you can section off the yarn bits if you use something like hair spray
