The shapes remind me of both berries and fuchsia blossoms, so maybe something like Summer Berries (because the texture is quire pluckable) or Flowing Fuchsia (as it appears to have a nice drape to it) or maybe even just Florescence which has a lovely connotation of growing, blooming, flourishing in addition to being the actual act of flowering.
Whatever name you decide on, I wish you luck - it’s a beautiful garment!
Beautiful top. I envision it being put on in the evening while walking or sitting out on the porch visiting family as the sun sets. Summer Sunsets, maybe ?
Thank you all for your recommendations. I decide to name ‘Rosebud’ to this top! Rosebud is a beautiful seaside town on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. As soon as I finished the top, I actually visited the town while wearing the top to take some photos.
Your suggestions give me so much inspiration, particularly after reading the comments from @nanajanice and @foxfrogandfern, I was inspired and decided to use the name ‘Rosebud’. For this reason, I will gift the pattern to both of them once it is published.
Please note that the test call for this top will be made very soon, e.g. sometime next week. You can leave a message here if you are interested in taking part in the testing, or follow me to be notified when the call comes up.
