Help- Safety eyes

Okay, so what on earth are those white button things for? They came with my safety eyes. If you can help, thank youuuu :ribbot-laughing-tight:

So basically when the pattern tells u to insert the safety eyes u put it in the designated row and then turn it around and put the white thing on the back of the eye and push until u hear a click! This just helps to secure the eye and prevent it from falling out it takes a few tries to get it but I hope this helps! :sparkles:

All good! Also the support section is for issues with ribblr so next time put something like this in general!

Also as a side note to what others have said: I really struggle to get these things on bc I have carpal tunnel, tendonitis, and arthritis (my body does NoT want me to crochet lololol but I do anyway!). They make tools that help you put them on but I just use a pair of needle nose pliers. I think I’ll break down and get the tool someday though because it looks easier to use than the pliers.

I see you already have your answer, but I also wanted to link two videos on how to use the safety eyes, in case they might be helpful. Also, welcome to Ribblr!
