Help to choose the stitch

I want to try and make a Tunisian pullover sweater but I don’t know which stitch to use.I’m thinking about a simple knit stitch but I also have a stitch like this

Hmm, I like the simple stitch better.

I could be wrong, but this makes me think it would be great for ribbing like at the cuffs, waistband, and collar… So maybe both? Use this for ribbing, then TKS for the body?
