Help to choose yarn for winter, men scarf

Hello everyone

Hmmm, I’m struggling with choosing yarn for a men scarf

As winter coming and I want to make a scarf for my male friend

I’m confused which best or a good choice for a yarn to give warmth and can lasts for long time

Also, if there’s any suggestions for a pattern ideas for men, will you kindly share it with me. :smiling_face:

I think velvet yarn is perfect for scarves!!!

Thank you, I think that too, but is it a good choice for man. Usually use it for amigurumi and things related to kids.

I think anyone would love a soft scarf.
I don’t think it’s not meant for a man or just meant for kids. Everyone has different ideas of what they like, and it doesn’t have to line up with the “gender norm”

No it’s not.

You’re right and it’s true, I agree with you. I just think most people go with the normal yarn and this chunky yarn not that used on mens clothes.

Also, I like to know how others thinks that helps me to take a decision as well to learn more.

My country is a hot country so usually we don’t wear very thick clothes only on winter which is sometimes have a hot days.
