Help with blocking

Hello! I’ve started making granny squares and I made a post earlier asking for tips on how to make it neat and straight and most people said blocking. So I did some research (watched TikTok’s on it lol) and I dont have any of the resources to properly block them, it says to use a steamer or blow dryer and a spray bottle for acrylic yarn but I don’t have any of those items. I’m using betnat premium 100% acrylic yarn, does anyone know how I can block it? (Little side info, I also don’t have a blocking board but I think I’m going to make one with cardboard and chopsticks )

I use cardboard with pins for mine! You don’t need a professional one at all, they’re really easy to diy

I get mine wet in the sink. And press lightly to remove some water. Do not wring them out. Cardboard and chopsticks sounds perfect. Also, you can put several on the same chopsticks, they won’t dry as fast though.

Ohh okay perfect! So I can just do that? A lot of the videos I had watched on blocking acrylic yarn were saying that it needed to be steamed and not just dunked and dried

I have never steamed anything.
