Help with knitting

I want to learn how to knit, I have plenty of yarn (from crocheting) but don’t have needles currently, I don’t want to wait so is there any substitutes?

Would pencils work :rofl::rofl:

Pencils definitely work :rofl:
I’ve done it at school when I didn’t have any and was bored lol
Walmart usually carries them though
I suggest getting bamboo because it isn’t too slippery and isn’t too grippy

I started knitting with pencils in 4th grade the only thing is for new knitter’s it’s easier to start with plastic knitting needles cause their smooth and pencils have wood but it still works great

Also if your learning from YouTube try finding a younger YouTuber cause no offense but the old ones kind of suck at filming and we are just staring at their roof as they talk

One more thing learn to pick up stitches pretty soon cause it’s a nightmare for me
They have needle toppers if you do like knitting so the yarn doesn’t fall off or you don’t poke someone’s eyes out
Also some are so cute even if you don’t knit like these Amazon.com
