Heya! I just started working on this sackboy pattern (from little big planet!) and I’m a bit stuck on row 10. The pattern calls for buttons, but I only have safety eyes that I can use for it… could anybody help me figure out what to do to keep the stitch count right?

If you don’t want to look at the link, the previous row has 31 stitches, and then row 10’s instructions are: SC 11, insert loop through button shank to add the first eye; SC x 2 then INVDEC then SC x 3; insert next button eye then SC x 12 (30) (both loops that hold a button count as a skipped stitch that gets picked up next round and are included in the stitch count)

it’s pretty easy!! you just do:
sc 14, inv-dec, sc 15

tysm!!! ended up finding buttons but if I make it again I’ll probably do this (i could only find two buttons that would work for the project in the whole stash, so if I repeat the project I’ll have to use safety eyes)
