What do when your safety eye backing is too big for your safety eye’s???

Uhh, that’s a hard question. I would probably just glue the eyes on with hot glue or something

What i do is still put it on, but then very carefully take a lighter to the tip on the safety and then squish it down with something metal. Just be careful that you flip the project inside out so the lighter isnt under anything or you will burn the yarn!!! I would know, ive done it before

Look for one that does fit or use glue/hot glue and glue the backing on, if you’re not experienced with using lighters I would suggest it as a last resort as you can easily burn yourself and/or the yarn(I make lots of crafts that require you to melt the ends with a lighter)

Melt the nibby part of the eye and squish it over with the flat side of scissors after putting it through the backing!
