I cant get my pattern to highlight text in the colour of the pattern, ive labeled the white as PC and the black as SC, so i did “Ch 25 turn SC”
BUT IT WONT GO BLACK!

have you tried reading the pattern normally, like not in edit mode? i think that may make the color appear correctly unless i misunderstand the problem

Likely you won’t be able to use sc as that stands for single crochet and may confuse the algorithm but I could be wrong. But also yes, the color highlights only show in ribbluild mode, not edit mode

I figured it out, u can use sc as its SC not Sc, and u label the yarn as that (luckily no sc in my oroject, all hdc, but i changed it cus in testing ppl might get confused) but for some reason i couldnt label them just A or B, had to be like… MC, CC

You can label them a, b, c, you just have to put ‘col A’ ‘col B’ in the pattern. That’s what I do so people know I’m talking about a color specifically.
