I see a girl who turned into a woman overnight,
a brother who asked the girl if she’s alright
I see a mom who can’t take care of her kids
a dad who drinks and forgets who he is
I see a sister who ran off, she tries to help but she couldn’t make it stop
I see a boy who marries the sister now sister is a misses with a mister
I saw that brother cause he is my brother, I saw that mom cause she is my mother
I know that girl cause she is me
I saw that dad cause I know what I see
that sister she is mine,
the boy who wants to marry her it’s just a matter of time
you see this is my family, and this burden lies on me heavily
I’m running out of time so now I have to stop,
if I say anymore I might have to visit a cop
the whole world is full of possibilities
that are mine
now I have to go cause that was my time
