Hey guys, soooo idk what space to put this in, soooo yup loll
Aaaaanyway, I’m trying out for hockey in the winter (Californian here, can someone explain what that is??) and I’ve only hit a puck like once in my life cuz I forgot I could honestly…. Buuuut I’m fairly good at rollerblading and I just bought cheap sticks and a street puck to practice. Does anyone have any tips for a BEGINNER STREET HOCKEY PLAYER NOT BEGINNER ROLLERBLADER??? Thx soooo much!!!

I honestly can’t help sadly. I fall with roller blades and skates. I only have played running. For the hockey matter, I do recommend practice in an extremely safe area out of traffic or on a blocked out road because accidents happen all of the time. Also, do be prepared for shoving. You might want to practice being shoved, because if you are not used to it, you will completely fall over. Practicing with friends or alone sometimes makes you forget that part. I don’t really play much at all for awhile now, so you might want others advice.

Yeah. I knew people so excited for sports and fell over from shoving and either cried a lot or basically quit.
