Holy week pattern set poll

A friend of mine is getting a Holy Week countdown set, and invited me to get one too. Kinda like an Easter Advent calendar. It’s all wooden and super expensive.
I decided I could take that general concept make one myself with crochet items.

I’m trying to decide what to make for some of the days. It doesn’t help that the exact days of when some things happened is a bit vague.
I also want each piece to be hand-sized or smaller.

  • Palm Sunday: donkey and palm leaves
  • Monday: table (presented upsidedown)
  • Tuesday: scripture scroll, and maybe an olive branch?
  • Wednesday: should I make some small silver coins in a mini purse? Or is that too dark? Traditionally, Mary Madeleine used perfumed oil on his feet that day. Maybe an old style perfume bottle?
  • Thursday: cup. Dual purpose: last supper and the bitter cup he drank for us.
  • Friday: lamb
  • Saturday: A white heart, for John 3:16 type meaning
  • Easter Sunday: Easter lily
  • Tuesday: Scroll and branch with an olive and leaf
  • Tuesday: Just scroll
  • Wednesday: coin purse
  • Wednesday: perfume oil bottle
  • Wednesday: both coin purse and bottle

Here is my first pattern test for the set. I thought I’d start with the more obscure patterns.

Here is my second pattern for the set: a cup, representing Thursday.
