I am not a homeschooled girl, but I am the homeschool teacher to an 8 year old girl. we are Christians and I am trying to get her into crochet. she doesnā€™t have many friends, other than family, which are all boys. She longs to have some good friends who love Jesus like she does. Maybe I can encourage her to join and try to crochet with you guys. I love it that you guys have a safe place to fellowship. I was a public school kid, and my other children were also. She is my only girl and she came along when I got older. With the way the world is today, we decided to keep her safely at home. She has never been to public school. Anyways, God bless you all and I pray that your group is successful.

Same! I homeschool my youngest who is an 8 year old girl. My other kids are out of school and I had them when I was a lot younger. Iā€™m 41 with a 21, 20, and 8 year old.. and a grandson on the way. I wasnā€™t as settled down with my first kids. (I wish I could go back, but I cant) Weā€™re Christian and my daughter doesnā€™t have many friends. The co-op near our house is 40 dollars per class and I can afford that at the moment. Weā€™re going to start taking her to the library for their childrenā€™s activities, but other than that, I have got to get her into some activities like dance or softball. We donā€™t have a church right now because we moved. Not trying to tell my life story but I like finding other homeschool moms and I love it that this young lady is starting a group for Christian Homeschooled girls.

Yes letā€™s, the girls really need their own space. As a homeschool mama, this space makes my heart so happy. I am so proud of her and all these girls for joining together in faith and their similarity of being homeschooled to create a space just for them. I hope they have a wonderful time and make great supportive friendships. I saw it and just came to wish them well. Not trying to insert my kids here or try to join the space. We need our own space.
