Bernat BlanketI use 5 mm

Loops and threads sweet snuggles lite and the reg 4 mm sometimes 4.5mm I use this for all chenille yarns. To me it’s tighter stitches.

Bernat softee I typically use what hook size is on the pattern for that one.

What I suggest is find a hook size your comfy with for each one. I rarely use the recommended hook on labels.

For sweet snuggles not lite, I use a 9mm! I would probably recommend using an 8mm. but I don’t have one.

I don’t think i’ve used Sweet Snuggles lite, but I’d probably use a 5mm

I used to do that all the time, I didn’t know that it mattered so sometimes I’d use multiple sizes in the same project lol.

Well I did not do multiple sizes I always use 5.5 for all except sweet snuggle and for that I use 8.00mm

The best hook is the one that’s more comfortable AND the stitch comes out correct.

I thought 2.5 was going to work on the pear I was working but it kept snagging the yarn despite being a tapered hook. I changed to 3mm and viola!

Oh tyyyyy but I don’t have 3.mm but I have 4
