So I want to become a tester but I am very new to Ribblr and havenât done any testing. So can someone please explain to me how I should journal?
Journal is basically like a pattern review!
I like to put what material I used and hook size for each project but you can always put what you want, usually for a pattern test the creator might ask you to put all the feedback (good and bad) in the group chat, NOT in the journal, that way it helps improve the pattern which is what testing is for.
To create a journal scroll to the bottom of a pattern and press âreview this patternâ
then you add a photo and some text :)
You can always look at other peoples journals by pressing their profile and then âmy makesâ and see what others do.
hope that helps!
If you scroll down to the bottom of the pattern, there is a little book icon thingamajigger and if you tap on it it should say something like " add a photo"
As a designer, I like my testers to start a journal right away. Like mentioned before, yarn and hook size are a good start. Ribblr has a way to track progress throughout the test if a journal has been started.
As a tester, if itâs a larger pattern, I like to do daily updates, so the designer can see progress. It can be adjusted before the pattern goes live, by removing some photos.
a journal is like a review! you write down how you liked the pattern, whether it was easy to follow, if it was quick or took a while, that kind of thing. but do NOT put feedback in the journal, that should be for the group chat. only put like a review in the journal :)) hope this helped!
The journals at the end of the pattern!
Thanks so much :D
