How do i sew a lining?

Hi guys !!!

So im makeing this bag

And im so so happy woth how its going!!! Itsmade out of hdc and i used a 4.5mm hook so its really streachy, so i thought i should line it but I dont know how. If it was just a square or something i would just cut out a squre but it isnt. Also what do i use to sew it ? Like can i use yarn or do i need some thread

I also got a strap and button !!!

So if youhave any tips for them it would also be appreciated

Just cut two pieces of fabric the same size and shape as the whale shark, then sew the together. Then you can use thread to sew the lining in!

Thank you !!! The sides arnt just sewn together they have this sttrip of crochet, should i cut a strip for that or just make the shapes bigger to compensate?

You could probably just make the shape slightly bigger to compensate!
