Hi everyone. Im getting compression gloves bc of hand pain and i dont know how to size them. Also if yall have good links for some good compression gloves that are fingerless they would be much appreciated. Oh and also compression sleeves. Thankyou
I use the fingerless ones. Each style of glove will fit a little differently, so I recommend following the sizing instructions. They will usually have a picture that shows where to take the measurements and what the range is.
If you have a fabric tape measure, wrap it around the widest part of your dominate hand(excluding thumb). Make sure it’s a loose enough to slide off your hand and write down that measurement.
In the US, the measurement should be on the back of the packaging. Compare your measurement to the chart and try to find the closest to your fit. Go up a size for a loose, but firm fit. Or size down 1 for a tighter grip.
In the UK, I believe the metric is in the front right corner. Again, compare to your written measurement and decide on the fit your after.
Most compression gloves are already fingertipless. But if you want more free finger movement, try looking at fitness gloves or weightlifting gloves. In the US, a few brands would be Dr. Schols, Grace and Able, or even K-tape/sports tape works pretty well. I hope this helps.
