How do you find markets/fairs to sell at?

I was just wondering, I have more plushies then I know what to do with, how do you find places to sell at?

I usually get ads for them in Instagram, by following the link you can read more about the market. For me selling online on websites like vinted or olx is much easier (because the fees for markets are usually huge and getting to market with stock can be a lot of work), but it can be hard to get any sales.
One way that’s quite successful for me is trading with my friends, usually I give them a plushie and they buy me a drink or two when we go out lol

My problem is I don’t have access to social media, and no matter how much i ask my mom she dosent look on facebook, then shell make a comment about having too much yarn or too many plushies

Hmm then maybe just look up on google “craft markets in (the place you live in)”. Also, if you are young enough to not have social media yet markets could be a bit out of your budget, in my country selling in the market can mean paying 1000 zł (about 250 dollars) just for a little booth, in USA it could be even more expensive.

I set up at flea markets I get business because people who come with their wives and kids like to look at more of this stuff instead of more of the antique stuff and it’s not as expensive as setting up as craft fairs and also there won’t be as much of the same people selling crochet goods and other crafts.

The one i set up at cost 30 dollars.

Since your mom won’t look on Facebook, search “vendor events near me” on Google. Most smaller to mid size ones are $25-50 for a booth fee so look for those ones to start out. If your city has a local farmer’s market you should look into becoming a vendor for that

Hmmm. I know that theres a mall in our area that does flea markets occasionally. Ill have to look into that.

I went on Facebook and found groups for crocheting in my area. Or just look for groups in your town or city. Then ask in there
