Good luck with your market!
Thank you!
They’re all so cute. Hope you have a very successful market!
Thanks!
Aww! They are all so cute!! I know that so many people will say “Oh yeah use this math equation to figure it out! Time x Materials x cost = price of item” But for me I try to imagine that and realize that the price would probably be around $100, and as unfortunate as it is, not a lot of people will see that as worth it and fair. I usually do what feels right to my gut, but it all depends on what you think is worth it, I would definitely consider how much time it took to make it so it makes the descision a little bit easier. Good luck with your market!!
Thank you. That is very helpful to think of it that way
I think the problem with the material bit of that equation is that it’s not keeping in mind that you only used a small amount of that material not all of what you paid for. So if you make a bunch of the same thing with the same material and you used it all up then just divide the material cost by how many you’ve made
And when it’s one small thing just weigh the product before you stuff it and use that instead
Hope it goes well! For the pricing I would consider the amount of time it took to make with the Grinch I think that should be priced 15 because it looks like it took a lot of sewing compared to the penguin
I need the pattern for the grinch! Please could you link it
Good luck with your market Stella, I hope everything goes well!
