How to attach safety eyes easily?

Hi everyone ,
Hope you are all well, was just wondering if any of you have an easy way/trick to attach safety eyes because I have been struggling to attach mine and breaking my fingers every time they are so hard .

Hi thank you so much for this suggestion only problem I think with this is when I am using bigger safety eyes I won’t be able to attach them with this

If you have one, use a bigger backing, but I just superglue them in after!

That is a good idea . Does the superglue keep it in place well?

Or would hot glue be better?

You can use both, but the hot glue leaves hard blobs of it inside the crochet item, which is kinda weird.

What size are you using? Usually the big ones are pretty easy to put on for me haha
The 10mm’s are the ones that hurt my fingers really badly​:sob:
That tool does work for at least 16mm’s though!

The smallest I have is 5mm and I never use them lol

I know I sometimes have to soak them in boiling water to make them get on. It takes me like 15 minutes.:smiling_face_with_tear:
