How do I change yarns so it is all one color ?
Following a pattern in Ribblr? I usually just go into materials and make all the colors red, for example. Whatever color you’re using. Then it’ll say change colors to … and it’s the same.
If you mean when you run out of yarn and use a new skein for your knitting project then create a slip knot on the needle where your yarn is running off from and with the new yarn start doing a knit stitch.
You need to be clearer what your asking ..
If you’re doing say a blanket in one colour and need to join a new ball in some will use a magic knot … I prefer the Russian join .. but. . we are only guessing here … And there are many other types of joins .. in knit and crochet
I am trying to switch from eyelash yarn to regular dk weight yarn in the first stitch of the next row
This is in knitting in stockinette stitch
It is for a stuffed animal
I hope that helps
Once you complete the last stitch of the row of eyelash yarn, just turn the needle/work as per usual to start the new row. Insert your needle into the first stitch of the row and using the dk yarn, wrap it around your hook and continue to use the dk yarn for the rest of the row. If you have finished using the eyelash yarn, once you’ve worked a few stitches using the dk yarn, you can tie the two loose ends together.
