how do i fix these holes while deacreasing?
i’ve always just dealt with it but now it’s starting to bother me. i would love for it to look like this on both sides
i know it’s probably not possible but i would be grateful for any tips!

Try using a smaller hook size or use a tighter tension for the decreases!
I don’t know if you’re using invisible decreases. This technique leaves fewer gaps, although the tension and the hook also help, as @Bobacat123 mentioned.

Basically its when you instead of going into both loops of the two stitches you want to combine into one, you go into the front loops of each (yes both at once) stitch and then pull through both at once like normal, then yarn over pull through all the loops (assuming this is a traditional sc invisible decrease) this is the technique I was taught, I could be wrong, but it does help.
also yarning under instead of yarning over, I reccomend looking into that technique as well!
Tighter tension intentionally when doing decreases, I used to have this problem but that fixed it. Just a recommendation, I’m not sure what’s it called but go into the front loops of the first stitch your going into, then the back loops in the second stitch your going into and yarn over, pull through the front loops and back loops, so 2 loops on hook, then yarn over and pull through both loops, if that makes sense. It looks better than invisible decrease to me and looks more like a normal sc, but just preference. Good luck 
The main thing that causes these holes when decreasing is having too big of a hook size, so if you find yourself always having this issue, I would try and size down your hook size! Also, using yarn under instead of yarn over give you much cleaner, tighter looking stitches especially in amigurumi. Finally, using invisible decreases would also help! I personally don’t like invisible decreases, but doing the other two things I mentioned would most likely solve the issue.

if you’re using invisible decreases already, tighten your tension/lower hook size and if you’re using standard decreases definitely switch to invisible decreases (I think someone already explained how to do those) good luck you got this!!
Invisible dec and smaller hook! Also, if you pull tighter (tighter tension like other were mentioning), you should be getting less holes 
I decrease my hook by a half size
I used to jave the same problem but to fix the holes just do invisible decreases and a smaller hook
Try doing invisible dec they work way better
