how to make a pattern go trending? 😴

yep today im not going to update the rose blanket why do i want to say rose star blanket :<
but i would like you ask you guys how to make a pattern go trending (yep according to the title)

bc im trying to grow my shop and idk how :[
so if you guys have any tips

I would say make your patterns unique and make things that not alot of people have!

I would also say seasonal things work and you post the pattern ahead of schedule (like 2-3 months before the holiday), so then people would have time to make them!

Unique patterns that aren’t offered much will do well, advertising your design on multiple platforms, having pattern testers that will also advertise your design, becoming parts of crochet groups that get the word out, making sure that the pattern itself is well written, easy to understand, with good pictures to help beginners to be able to use it. Also find out designs that are trending that you can put your own spin on. Kinda like the 6 day star blanket. Obviously don’t copy that pattern, but if you can create something similar then it may become popular. Or with clothing, the strappy tops seem to be quite popular right now, so if you can create one with your own spin. I feel like amigurumi dragons are rather popular right now as well, and with spring, bunnies. So create a design that fits in those “trending” areas but make it unique to you.
