Alright! claps hands
So I have seen some people asking how to do this!
The secret is the ch1 you do at the very beginning. Make it really loose, but not so it hangs down. After that, continue crocheting however many stitches you need at whatever size and tension. Then hold a bit of the tail, a little further up than the end, and steadily pull. Softly at first, then GRADUALLY harder. Hope this helps!
commet if you need some pictures to help!

Yeah me too!
I’ve found that closing it as you go makes it easier, and once you have 6 sc you need to close it all the way.

Well i’m among the one having difficulties. I’m new with chenille yarn, only started some projects with chenille last month.
So here I’m always crocheting lose sc in the magic ring to make it easier to pull (not too lose just the right amount) and for velvet it works really well. Never had any issues whatsoever.
But with my hobbii regular chenille yarn (toucan, honey bunny and baby snuggle), i just can’t. It doesn’t work, when i close the MR, the yarn ALWAYS break. It makes me go crazy i swear.
So i’m using the 2 ch, but I don’t like this way to do it, it doesn’t make a “clean” circle, we have a hole in the center, and it has a tendancy to be pointy
