how to make these into a blanket?

hello everyone! as of late, the game Omori has completely taken over my brain. besides ordering merch from the site, I’ve also been making some tapestries based on things from the game. several of them are much too thin to be used as bags or are too long to be pillows, so I’ve decided to make them into a blanket. my main issue is im not too sure how to fill in the spaces between these tapestries. I’m currently working on the logo and it will be the largest piece (250 stitches by 131 rows) and the others are quite a bit smaller, with the next largest only being 109 stitches by 33 rows. i will be making some smaller ones to help fill it in a bit, but how should i go about filling in the larger gaps? here are the tapestries i currently have finished

Maybe make some strips or squares/rectangles of accent colors? Maybe red?

i was thinking of making the whole front black and white (minus those 4 stitches on the one tapestry) and giving it a purple backing

If you could figure out a symbol that represents something and make it small?

and we’re just going to brush over the Dino bedspread?

You could use some random stitches like the wave stitch to fill out areas, but you may have to do some math.

thanks lol, i seem to get quite a few compliments on my dinosaur blanket here. i was wondering if I’d have to make random blank squares to fill it in. thanks for the advice!

If you’re really dedicated you could make a whole blanket with a background color that would measure out to fit all of the smaller tapestries how ever you want them to be oriented and then you could sew the smaller tapestries in place through the front loops

that would be really cool, but im thinking of getting plush fabric for the backing. maybe I’ll do a couple purple panels and embroider the little shapes in the sky though. thanks for the idea!
