I am new to ribblr and I would love pointers!

Hey I am new to ribblr and I would like to start selling my items I crochet. I would love any pointers on how to get started doing so. I don’t really know how everything works so any pointers will be greatly appreciated. Also I keep seeing things about followers and I’m not sure where to find mine at (I’m sure I’m at 0 right now but for future reference). And I would love to make some new friends to talk / relate to! All of the items I have seen have been so amazing! Thank y’all in advance for any advice!

the followers refers to shop followers, you follow shops to keep up with their new patterns

Hi and welcome to Ribblr. For general questions regarding shops, I would go to the help center and click on My Shop. To see your follower count, simply go to yoir shop and see the number under the heart, as of right now there is none, but this will change once you get some patterns there

A tip is you can always make a free pattern or two and make them followers exclusive, people usually like seeing if they like your writing style before buying.

For friends I would suggest going to the chats or simply start replying to posts, people are super friendly here, so you will have many in no time.

Another thing to check is our Community Guidelines

Hope this helps!

You can sell items you crochet (called makes) right here on Ribblr, but they have to be made from patterns on Ribblr. The designer gets paid a certain percentage when you sell an item made from their pattern here

Depending on your country you can sell any item you make from a pattern. Crediting the designer is okay but not legally required. Designers have no control over the finished item (in most countries). Of course if you intend to make a living by selling makes, it is probably best to seek competent legal advice on how it works in your country.

It is best to avoid designing patterns of copyrighted and trademarked characters and images such as Disney, Sanrio, Nintendo, any tv show, movie, video game, etc. unless you obtain official permission of the owner.

You can sell your items by leaving a ‘journal’ on patterns that are on Ribblr, if that pattern isn’t on Ribblr I don’t believe that you can sadly. (and understandably)
