So I got a pattern for some socks and it called for fingering yarn and it didn’t specify knitting needle size. Well, I want to use a medium weight yarn. Any ideas for what size?

I feel like the 2.5 or 2.75 mm works well with socks…ignore me, I dunno nada bout knitting

I might use some 3mm just so I don’t have to go but some but that’ll be close!!! I’m just about broke from buying yarn!
