That’s great, I remember when I got my first sewing machine (I still have it) I was 12, my mum actually used it first (cause hers needed to be fixed and I offered her to use mine) partly cause I couldn’t understand how to thread the machine (it was backwards to my mums which is what I first learned on) so I needed her to figure out how to thread it then teach me
