So as the title says, IM GOING TO TRY FOR THE WORLDS LONGEST SCARF AND THEY JUST APPROVED ME! That means I can start today! I have a question about it though. What stitch should I use? It has the be seven inches ( 17.7 cm I think) wide and like 3 FOOTBALL FIELDS LONG! So what is a fast stitch that is not too bulky but fun.
Also what yarn should I use? It is a 6.5 mm hook limited so I think worsted works. But what are YOUR thoughts?
I’m so excited!
Bye
Edit what color should I start with!?!

OMG that’s amazing!

Good luck!!!
I agree I think a double crochet is the best way to go! It’s simple and will shorten the time!

Double crochet and treble crochet are (I believe) the most yarn efficient, but you can also do something that involves chaining in between the stitches for even more open spaces and less yarn used!

Ooo, that’s so cool! Good luck with your attempt!
Does the scarf have to be all the same stitch? If not, I would definitely change it up from time to time! Might be a fun way to try out some different stitch patterns if that’s allowed. If it needs to be the same, I’d maybe opt for something like the granny stitch.

No it doesn’t (idthink) but I can even see different parts together. What stitches do you think! I think it is about just length

Personally I love the star stitch and never get bored doing it, but it can be a little bit of a yarn eater, so I’d recommend it, but only as a change up in between larger sections.
Alpine stitch is a cool texture, and an open shell stitch looks really pretty without sacrificing height. There’s a bunch of tutorials on YouTube that can help if you’re new to any of them!
