I have a few suggestions

I have a few suggestions, if you like one of them you can say ‘I like #whichever one you like’

  1. Be able to give testers karma without gifting them the pattern
What I mean:

Since there is only the options ‘remove tester’ and ‘gift pattern’, maybe there could be an option of ‘complete tester’, or maybe a better word than complete but my brain isn’t braining.

  1. Have a limit on topics you can post in a day
What I mean, this is important

I see a lot of people posting SEVERAL topics about utter nonsense, and lots of things that could be in the same topic. I’m not trying to call people out, but it’s mostly new people who don’t quite understand Ribblr.

  1. Not be able to make tester calls the wrong way
What I mean, this is important

I see a lot of people that post tester calls wrong. I don’t feel like there should be a way to make a new topic in the testing zone, since you are supposed to make it through your shop. This is a long shot, I know that people also offer to test if someone needs just one more, but seriously so many people do it wrong. Maybe instead of not being able to, there could be some other restriction so that less people end up doing that? I’m not really sure though.

  1. Be able to remove a pattern from ‘in testing’ and put it in ‘completed’ without posting it
What I mean

I have a lot of patterns that are tested, but I was them in completed without publishing them. It just takes up space and I like things organized.

  1. Not let regulars change topic titles
What I mean, this is important

I see some people try to change mine in the stupidest ways, like adding another exclamation mark! I know that most regulars understand, but I don’t think they should be able to edit someone’s post. I still think they should be able to change the space and add tags though, just not edit the name.

I know that’s a lot, but I don’t like posting a bunch of suggestion topics, so as I get ideas I keep a list so I can post a few at once. Please don’t tag Ribblr over and over, but if you agree with one or a few, please comment which number you like. If you comment please make sure you have read the ‘what I mean’ summaries for that number.

Maybe instead of regulars doing that, only leaders can! (Number 5)

Yeah that’s what I was thinking.

I agree with #2, #3, #4, #5. I can’t agree with #1 Because I just think it’s fair that the tester get the pattern after testing, and even if Ribblr would remove that function, I’m worried people would start making screen shots of patterns to save it

I can understand that.

yes these are good points!! #2 and #3 especially because i get semi-irritated with the people who post nonsense or messed up tester calls XD

I think these are great points, especially #2 #3 and #4!

I agree with most of these! Hopefully Ribblr takes some into consideration!

I agree wholeheartedly with #2 and #5. I think for number #1, it just seems right to me that after you make a pattern you should have the pattern, but others might feel different idk. For #4, do you mean like in the shop manager how it still shows patterns in testing after the testers are completed? If so then i agree because i have a pattern posted but the testers still show up in shop manager.

for #1: why wouldnt you wanna gift the pattern? its fair if testers finish
for #2: maybe, but just for those ones, what if they are (semi) important?
for #3: yes!
for #4: yes
for #5: yea

For #1, sometimes they don’t want it, or I just don’t want to give it to them, because some testers are the opposite of helpful , not really sure but I feel like it would be nice.
#2, there are some totally nonsense posts

(For #2) i think if you were going to post something important, then you wouldn’t have posted 3 times before that day :woman_shrugging: i think the topics limit would just be to make sure people aren’t randomly posting and actually giving thought to their topics.

for #2: yea there should DEFINITELY be restrictions
for #1: I mean, its fair that they get the pattern, no matter what, bc they took the time to test it
