I have a few suggestions

Thank you
For the ā€˜wrongā€™ tester calls, I see a lot of people that will just say ā€˜I need testers for this pattern in my shop, go get the pattern if you want to testā€™ or they do it without a link. Maybe if there were some sort of restriction that could help people know that they need to post tester calls through their shop? When you create a testing topic, it does say ā€˜did you read the testing guidelinesā€™ but that doesnā€™t really stop people from doing it wrong. :slightly_frowning_face: Iā€™m not really sure I have ideas of what those restrictions should be though, usually I just tell people to post it through their shop and they re-post, which isnā€™t that big of a deal.

Thanks for sharing! right now, we want to keep Testing zone open to everyone, including those that prefer to test outside of Ribblr, as long as people can apply on the community to keep everyone safe.
We do get your point though so weā€™ll keep an eye on it to see if we can come up with a better solution!

Ok thank you. One more question: I thought that when people posted about tester calls on Insta that they would be flagged? Iā€™ve seen a few Instagram tester calls that got flagged an removed. Do they have to be on here as well?

No, these arenā€™t allowed. As long as you can apply on Ribblr, thatā€™s completely fine. asking people to fill forms, send emails, go to a social media website isnā€™t allowed.

I think this should be allowed, thatā€™s just my opinion though. Because if people have a pattern on Instagram but they need people to test it, there is no testing feature on instagram

But they can still post it there, itā€™s just trickier.

The pattern doesnā€™t have to be on Ribblr - but if they want to share a testing call here on our community they must accept tester applications via Ribblr. This is to both avoid making our community an ad board, but as importantly keep our users safe from having to click links we cannot verify.

I like all of these ideas!

What I think would be kinda cool is that we could rate our testers! Like some sort of ā€œ great testerā€ button or ā€œ helpfulā€ or just ā€œ I would recommend this testerā€ !

And then if we didnā€™t rate them it would just be neutral! And maybe an option for ā€œ negativeā€ or ā€œnot idealā€ or something :grinning:

Yeah I like that idea!
