Add granny squares randomly. Maybe around the bottom to flare them. (oops, sewing, not crochet)

If you are open to adding crochet to them, I have this pattern

You could also turn them into super bell bottoms by adding panels to the leg with fabric or crochet

It depends on what you mean by do something with them.

If you want to keep wearing them but just change the look of them you could:

  • make a bunch of crochet doilies, patches, appliques etc and sew them to the jeans.
  • if you sew you could do some sashiko style stitching on them.
  • cut the hems shorter and crochet around the bottom

If you don’t want to wear them anymore and want to upcycle them you could:

  • cut squares out of the jeans, crochet around the edges, sew/crochet them together to make a blanket/throw, a scarf, skirt, etc

Check out other ideas on Pinterest. The ideas are endless.

or you could make a cutesy bag!

I’ve made this one before, and it’s relatively easy and quick if you know the basics of sewing!! <3

If the ends are fraying you could crochet a sc all around and then add a border.

You could do the same thing with fabric, sew on a border.

Turn them into long strips: ladder hook a pouch/ purse, crochet pot holders, sunglasses case, and so on.

All my jeans are old in about 1.5yrs I won’t own any that are less then 10yrs old, and that’s my store bought ones not my hand me downs or thrift store grabs which are already 10+yrs old I have zero tips, anyone have any tips for making jeans feel not like jeans and more like PJ’s, sweat pants, or leggings (not to be confused with jeggings that are basically just leggings that feel unfortunately like jeans), cause I can’t stand to wear the texture of jeans on my skin
