I just discovered a new yarn craft!!

I discovered a yarn craft called knooking, it is basically a combo of knitting and crochet! It looked like Tunisian crochet but it isn’t, it actually makes knitted fabric!! Comment below if you want to hear more.

How do you do it?

The way “Knooking” works is that you have a hook with a piece of yarn attached to it. The yarn acts as the holder for the stitches (kind of like the second needle in knitting), this allows you to work into those stitches creating a knitted fabric! I’ll put a couple tutorial links in to the post later!

Yes! I actually tried that! Problem for me is I don’t like the hooks that have the hole in them for the string.

It’s fun! And not as frustrating as trying to learn knitting!

@Xcecility

If you don’t like those kind of hooks you could try making your own. I’ve seen people tape yarn to their hook using washi tape, then coat the tape in nail polish to harden it. Hope that helps!
