What’s wrong with mid-to-late Summer??
I mean, Summer is a beautiful time of the year that not all countries get, and I mean, heck, I was born in Summer, and I love it! I mean, I could do without the severe heat, but there’s so many things to do and see and experience in Summer that you just can’t in any other. So I will proudly wear my flip flops and shorts/summer dresses into the stores, where the next season has pretty much taken over…i just want to enjoy the current season.

Agreed. I would even prefer the heat of Summer. Trying to appreciate all seasons. Spring and Fall anyway. But yeah, I don’t go out much in the Winter.

Here where I am, Summer is always so hot that I have been burnt multiple times sitting in dappled shade and through car windows. The hottest parts of our Summers tend to be mid to late and it’s a massive relief when the cool weather noticeably arrives in mid Autumn. Not to mention all the bush fires

I loved my summer birthday as a kid! Pool parties and backyard camping were my favorite way to celebrate. And we’d always hit the pool and the park on any free days.
As an adult I kind of hate the heat
especially being pregnant right now, Florida is miserable. But since my toddler absolutely loves swimming and playing outside im finding the joy in it again.

Personally I do the least during summer. During spring and fall I’m outside everyday at parks or on trails enjoying the weather and doing school outside. In the winter I go snowboarding and sit around fire bowls with friends. In the summer I just laze around and do school because it’s too hot to go outside most days. Where I live spring weather lasts like 2 weeks and then it’s just hot, so fall is definitely my favorite lol. I guess those are the only differences to me because I don’t really get summer break haha

Amen. I mean, I love each season, and it’s so hard to take time to enjoy it when the world is trying to shove it out of our grasp. I guess that’s why you’ve gotta capture each moment, even if it seems insignificant or dull.

@LuckyKnotofGold, and @Itsamber , i agree with u all in the case of extreme heat
Summer does seem to come with a vengance, especially when you live in a dry area
However, having access to good, cool, clean water does make Summer a lot more enjoyable
It’s almost a blessing to drink a cold glass of water, or even to jump into a pool and be refreshed from the heat.
I live in a pretty central spot in the US, Kentucky, so we get heat, cold, dry, wet, pretty much everything; but in the really dry states/countries, I couldn’t imagine the heat there
I do feel like Summer is great in that there’s a relief coming afterward, whether it’s water, a cool shower, or the cooling season of Autumn
There is beauty in each season

I don’t like the heat. It’s fairly hot in my area of California. We have very few cold months.

Yess! Everyone loves fall while I’m over here enjoying summer lol- I love to wear dresses, rompers, and jumpsuits and I LOVE swimming and tanning! I also think I have seasonal depression too cause I get all moody when it’s fall/winter and just don’t feel like myself

I absolutely love Fall and Winter. Where I live it’s very rare to have cool or rainy weather so I cherish it when we do! I love the aesthetic of Fall, so I could have pumpkins and Halloweeny spooky stuff in my house all year lol. I do however enjoy the summer for gardening. I do NOT like how stores seem to push seasons way too early and then quickly get rid of seasons. It feels like you don’t even have time to enjoy it! I think everyone has their own idea of what their perfect season is and I say just enjoy what you like! I’ve also learned it helps to see the good in all things and there is always something to be grateful for!

Omg my dad loves summer time, like he cuts wood, works in the garden and almost lives outside! But he takes waaaay more naps in the winter, just like a big ol’ grizzly bear
yet he always talks about his dream of visiting Alaska…i don’t think he’d last a week down there
