I always thought of myself as a Christian (my denomination is Church of God), but nowadays I feel like I’m drifting. I just have so many questions that no one ever gives a straight answer to. I just don’t understand; I don’t want to go to hell but I don’t exactly want the commitment of being a Christian. Idk I just feel stuck, especially since I don’t think that I share the same political views as my parents. I definitely don’t want to go to my parents for religious stuff (I love and trust them, I’m just too embarrassed). I’m also not sure if I believe in prayer. I probably would die from my social anxiety if I talked to my pastors. I don’t know what to do

Just keep praying. Don’t give up. And, know that Jesus is neither a Democrat nor a Republican. He loves us all just the same.
You only have to be comfortable with your relationship with Him. Everyone goes through times of doubt but the other side is glorious. When you finally get your strong faith back, you’ll see.
