I made Pino from My Hero Academia…but

Base Pattern: MevvSan on etsy

I struggled the most with the mask and the color changing on the wings. I tried to follow those tutorials on how to do a seamless color change but idk, I think I did it wrong in the end. The mask on the other hand, I wanted it to match the actual character design more rather than the ninja turtle mask patterns that come up. It doesn’t look right to me. Do you guys have any tips on what I can do if I make this again? would felt eyes have been a better idea on top of a mask?
idk how ppl do beaks so well either :sob:

I think your Pino looks awesome!! The only thing I noticed is the the little points on top of the mask are missing, maybe adding those would pull the mask together for you! But honestly, I think it looks amazing as is.

I wonder if maybe something like this might help?
:heart:3 sc in a MR, CH 1 and turn-tighten MR
:heart:Sc, inc, sc, FO and leave a tail for sewing. You’d need 3 of 'em, of course. And then using a pic as a guide, you could find placement.
