I need help...

I have a little problem. I started amigurumi last christmas and its running pretty good. The thing is that when i do lots single crochets (in rows) they wont turn out even and beautiful. Im doing it just like all tutorials say, but my single crochets still turn out looking crappy. Someone know what to do?..

Thats an example of a pickle i made a few days ago. You see mine look really uneven but im doing it just like all tutorial say and mine still look different.
A little tip would be nice… T^T

It might have to do with your tension.
That can play a huge factor in how the stitches look

I made these with the same yarn and same hook but different tension
Hope this helps!

Maybe it could be bc you have the wrong side out?

Maybe you could try yarning under rather than over.

It’s your tension. Try going really slowly and trying to make each stitch as even as possible, then start gradually speeding up while still trying to do it.
If you want, you could also try yarning under instead of over. It won’t fix your tension but sometimes it makes stitches look neater. Not everyone likes it though, I personally don’t.

It could be that your altering between yarning over and yarning under. So some of your stiches look like x and some like v

It isnt that bad, I think there is some inconsistent tension on some of the stitches, that gets better with practice. At the end of each round are you slip stitching then ch 1 before you start the next round or are you just starting straight off with a sc ??? Sometimes the slip stitch, ch 1 method makes the rows look offset, IMO, and I prefer to just go directly into the sc.

Well if you want to work on tension then tension hooks are great (but not for color changes)
