I need some help for a market

I am going to sell at my first market soon and I need some help. I’m selling crocheted ducks, bags, hats, etc. any advice on getting people to look at my stuff? Or just tips in general about markets? Thank you!!

One trick I found to work to just draw eyes to my stand was to have a Large crochet project sitting out, not for sale, just to catch attention - if you have any, say, sweaters, or large amigurumi, or blankets, that you could use for display it helps make you stand out a little more
Also, if its an outdoor market & it’s hot out on the day of the market, having some sort of fan, mister or awning will make people come to your stand just to get out of the heat. It’s an underhanded technique but it works surprisingly well
A sign or chalkboard in front of your stand can help prevent you from getting lost in a bunch of bigger, brighter big business stands; because it gives you more dimension to your stand.
If you can, putting your works on tiered display stands and hanging them from above also adds dimension to your stand, making you more visually interesting and thus more appealing.

Best of luck! The first market might not always be the best one, but what matters is having fun <3
