it actually isn’t. I used this tutorial and it was easy enough. but for sure make loose stitches bc my hands hurt from making them too tight at first 
also, I got my hooks at a thrift store. I was looking for some crochet hooks (bc I totally need more) and I just grabbed a couple hooks~

i think it looks good! much better than any of my attempts lol, i can’t figure out how to get a loop from one needle to the other without dropping all of them off on accident

Man I hate don’t like knitting compared to crochet. 1. It can be created by a machine 2. I think it’s less versatile but I’d have to learn how to knit to make that claim lol

same…it’s cool and all but nothing beats crochet. (ngl my hands were shaking a lil after knitting for like 20 min, like they never shake for crocheting, hurt yes but never shaking…)

Ok so to cast off it’s like a slip stitch you take one loop over the other. And that’s should work sorry I’m bad at wondering things.

I actually started yarn art with knitting bc my mom knots and let’s say it was a disaster, looks so good tho!!! You’re isnt missing and stitches like mine was, and I think for fastening off just think of it like finger knitting where you being one loop through another to make a v then continue (if that makes any sense whatsoever)

That is a great swatch! I need to get back into it. I knit a little in 1974 ish … but crochet stuck better.
