I want to FLOOD Ribblr with holiday cheer!

I would love to bring more holiday cheer to Ribblr this year so my idea was to do an ornament collab! It can be any medium so crochet, knitting, sewing, or tunisian!

Here are the details:

  • each person will design at least 1 ornament pattern to put in their shop
  • ALL ornament patterns will be FREE so that everyone on Ribblr has access
  • First time designers are welcome! I am happy to help with adding patterns to Ribblr if needed
  • The ornaments can be flat or 3D and can be anything holiday/winter related (please no religious ornaments)
  • The collab will run through 2025-11-15T05:00:00Z to give ample time for people to make the ornaments for their trees this year!

If you are interested, please comment with an idea you may have and a tree :christmas_tree:. If you aren’t sure, just comment that you would like to participate

I could do this! I’d love to join! Would the ornaments be stuffed amigurumi balls? Because in that case I have some ideas….

Me!!! Idk what i would make yet but :christmas_tree:

Yup! You can stuff them or put them over those plastic balls! Style doesn’t matter as long as they stay on theme.

I will do it!

For mine I will make them tiny!

Oooh this sounds fun! I’d love to participate :christmas_tree: I’m not 100% sure what I’d make yet, but I’m sure I’d think of something!

I’m interested! I think  I would know what to make but I’ve never actually designed a pattern of my own before or posted it .

I would love to participate! Maybe something involving a penguin, but not sure. :christmas_tree:

I was just wondering this morning if there would be another holiday collab opportunity

:christmas_tree:

Thinking maybe a crocheted 3D earmuffs ornament? Or snowman?

Or a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows? There might already be some of those on Ribblr

Or I might be able to come up with a pattern for a small (3"?) knitted snowflake square to hang?

That’s fine! Just write down what you do and take some photos and we can all help get you up and running on Ribblr  We’ll have a group chat so you’ll be able to ask questions or get feedback if needed

Ugh you know I’m busy so why do this to me lol. I’ll join in. I’ve actually been thinking about making small Christmas tree ornaments that kids can decorate so would give me a reason to lol :christmas_tree:

Ooo I love this idea! I would like to join! I might be able to make multiple, but I have to see. I already have a couple ideas^^ :christmas_tree: I would like to make a stocking/ ruffle themed round ornament (it’s hard to describe) but basicly a ball with ruffles on it

Oh dear. So there are multiple little snowmen, snowflakes, and cocoa mugs available already… might do a snowflake on a heart instead? I don’t think I’ve seen one of those  maybe still the earmuffs?

Hmmmm… Will be able to think more clearly after next Wednesday :face_with_hand_over_mouth::woman_shrugging:

Does it necessarily have to be an ornament? Or can it be garland, or other Christmas tree hanging decorations, as well?
I was thinking of a popcorn garland and something for an elf on a shelf to hang out in from the tree. :)
