Hello everyone! I recently got some very chunky chenille yarn to make a blanket for my bed, but I’m kinda stuck on how I want it make it. I have three colors of yarn( sage green, gray, and white.) but should I knit small squares and sew them together or make it all in one piece? Should I knit with needles or use my hands? Please let me know what you think, i need your advice!

I feel like knitting by hand takes less time, so I would do that (correct me if i’m wrong), but if you use needles to make multicoloured squared, it would look more aestheticaly pleasing. You could also make stripes by hand-knitting a few rows of eah color and swapping them.

Hand knitting would take less time but I’m not the best at it so it might not look as nice. I probably will just do stripes of color and hand knitting.

Im only a beginner knitter so i dont know how true this is, but a couple months ago i wanted to try to knit a patchwork cardigon. I skipped around a few tutorials to find one i liked, and all the tutorials said they diddnt make the squares separately as when sewn together they had a lot of seams and it was a bit boxey. Ive never made a blanket before though so i dont know if this would be different.
