I can’t believe there is a writing community. I’m a huge romance novel junkie, and love a good Fantasy. ACOTAR, and 4th Wing Series…
So, i actually wrote a full length fantasy novel. My friend read it and liked it. I paid someone on Fivrr who basic told me my writing is good, but my character development was . She actually gave me some great feedback, but the editing just felt too monumental.

The world is Nyxia and follows the story of a young woman named Liliana. Both magical people and non-magical live amongst each other. Magical people are born with four lines on the heel of their foot, but Lily has it on both feet, which had not occurred in 300 years.
Its sets her on a fast forward path to that she does not feel confident to follow. She must navigate her way through learning, channeling a mastering her powers to become the leader that Nyxia will need. She heads to The Academy where she will find friends and enemies, but sometimes you cant tell one from the other.
Ive written dozens of books in my head. Have a whole five series romance plotted out. For me, its one of the benefits of hyper fixation. My problem is time. There are great articles out there about setting goals for yourself. Make a word count for the day and then stick with it. Mine was 5000 words, but there were days i did 12000. When youvget a good flow goingvits hard to stop.
If i could go back in time, i would have majored in creative writing. My lifelong dream. But now im management at a non-profit.
And writing is so subjective. Your writing might really appeal to some people.
It’s all about preference. If you love it, do it.
just one thing - if you ever want to share your book, you should be careful, because there is a novel called Nyxia and so there might be copyright stuff, but i’m not sure :shrug:
also, i LOVE ACOTAR and The Fourth Wing <333 if you ever want to yap abt romantasy novels or have good recommendations… i have plenty lolsies.
