I have two skeins of yarn that I want to use to make toys for the Ronald McDonald House, but I am not sure what toys I can make with them.
The one on the right is
#6 weight, a mix of pink, yellow-green, and green-grey, and I have 72 yards of it.
The yarn on the left was given to me unlabelled, so I’m not sure how much of it there is, although I would guess 50-70 yards. It is slightly thinner, lkely a
#5 weight, and it is a mix of red, yellow, green, and blue.
Any ideas? They have to be cute and little kid friendly. And I would really prefer free if possible. Thank you in advance!

Or maybe any small toy, without stuffing. Like this.

Unfortunately, RMHC will only take stuffed animals.
However, I do love that idea and can maybe inplement it for future donations elsewhere, so thank you very much!!

I’ve made (and sold at markets) a bunch of these Birdy Pops in all kinds of yarns! Thicker yarn just makes a bigger bird. And any colors work! It’s one of my favorite patterns because they work up pretty quick. They don’t take too much yarn… but I’m not sure how many yds it uses…

My cyclops would be adorable in either color!
