I have had the same problem. Lately I have been trying to make my stuffed toys stand out. For example, my larger rays and squid have smaller stuffed toys inside of them. I sew all the way around my rays (except over the mouth), which makes the ray a pouch. Next, I stuff them with baby starfish, seahorses, goldfish, sharks, etc. It’s not fair that you had to put half of your inventory away, but I hope this helps.
